Hi Everyone,

What does a tiny 2 watt per channel, class A/B amplifier sound like? Can I use it at work? Can I use it in my home stereo setup? How does it compare with a class D amplifier?

These were just some of the questions I had when Schiit announced the release of their new Rekkr amplifier. It sells for $149 (plus shipping) and at only 2 watts per channel, I had to buy one immediately to review.

I decided to compare the Rekkr to the popular class D amp, the Aiyima T9 Pro, since I think Schiit's goal with an inexpensive A/B amp is to compete with Fosi Audio, Douk Audio, Aiyima and more.
