Here's how to improve the sound of Bluetooth streaming audio...

Hi Everyone,

Most audio gear released today has a Bluetooth connection option allowing you to easily stream music.

I recently spent a couple of weeks comparing two new wireless streamers, the Arylic S10 and the WiiM Mini.

Following the review, I found it hard to go back and listen to streaming music via Bluetooth as everything sounded thin and flat.

Why? Well, Bluetooth audio has to compress the audio signal much more than a wireless streamer which is connected to your home's wifi, providing more bandwidth, allowing for higher resolution streaming.

Wireless streamers help bring the life back to music, especially if you listen with services like Apple Music and Tidal. They allow you to hear better bass performance and more detail without having to crank the volume knob because you just can't quite hear that guitar solo you remember in your favorite song while listening via Bluetooth.

Even better, these wireless streamers are extremely affordable.

Personally, I prefer the sound of the WiiM Mini and its ability to connect it to an external DAC, but I also really like the options, like a remote control, that are provided with the Arylic S10.

If you'd like to add a wireless streamer to your setup, but not sure which is right for you, you can read my blog post comparing the two or watch my YouTube review:

Arylic S10: Is It Better Than The WiiM Mini?

If you are interested in purchasing either unit, you can use my Amazon affiliate links below which allows me to earn a small commission that is invested back into buying more gear for review:

WiiM Mini (on sale for just $90!)

My goal with Forever Analog is to improve the playback experience for music lovers who might not have the time to try out new products.

Upgrading from Bluetooth streaming to wireless is a quick and easy way to get better sound!

Hi friend - Aaron from Forever Analog here... I've released a lot of videos about CDs and CD players on YouTube this year and folks have asked if I have an online store with items for sale. As some of you might know, I operate a vintage booth inside an antique mall in Murfreesboro, TN, called Four Sisters Antiques, where I sell A LOT of CDs, vinyl, cassettes and other music related items, including vintage audio products. I decided to build out an online store at Discogs to compliment the...

Hello Hifi Friends, I'm attempting my first live stream on YouTube, tonight, (Monday, 2.5.24) at 7pm CST. The purpose of the live stream is to hang out and answer questions, but I'll also have a stack of cheap CDs (and some vinyl and cassettes) that I've recently purchased to show you in between questions. There are a couple of CDs that surprised me...especially finding a one released by an indie record label I interned for in Los Angeles almost 25 years ago! I believe you can follow this...

Hi Everyone, I love all things analog, but I grew up mostly listening to CDs and therefore have owned many traditional CD players over the years. As vinyl prices continue to rise, I've begun to venture back into the digital world (who can pass up a CD copy of Miles Davis' A Silent Way CD for just $1?) and stumbled into the rabbit hole of external DACs and CD transports. What is a CD transport? In short, it's a CD player that does not have an internal DAC so you have to connect it to an...
