Lately, I've been buying more CDs than vinyl and needed to upgrade my accessory game for this growing collection.

Here are 5 items I've found very useful since adding CDs back to my collecting habit and affiliate links to purchase if you find a need for them as well:

CD Player Lens Cleaner

I also collect vintage CD players and 9 times out of 10, the lens in the player needs cleaning.

Yes, I can open up the player and clean with a q-tip, but sometimes it's nice to just run this lens cleaning disc through the player instead. It always does the trick.

Easy CD Storage

It's rare to walk into a store and buy storage shelves for growing CD collections, but I found a fun little easy solution.

These shelves hold 30 CDs, can be stacked and even mounted to a wall if you like that sort of thing.

Very sturdy and doesn't feel cheap and again, if you need more, you can stack them!

New CD Cases!

I buy a lot of my CDs at the flea market and the cases are often dirty, cracked or completely broken.

It's amazing what installing a new case on a used CD will do to make it feel new again.

These CD cases are a good starting place if you want to get those broken cases fixed.

These come in packs of 50 but you can find smaller quantities if needed. I buy a lot of CDs so need a lot of cases!

CD Wipes

Again, I buy a lot of CDs at the flea market and many need a good wipe down before playing.

I can obviously just use my t-shirt, but I found these wipes to also do the trick and they aren't expensive.

CD Ripper Burner Drive

A lot of folks like to rip their CDs to their digital music collection.

There are expensive ways to do this but if you're just getting started, a little drive like this will not only rip your CDs, but also burn them if you want to make CD-R mixes again.

I find ripping CDs takes a lot of time and can be tedious, so if you are new to ripping and not sure if it's something you will continue to do, start with something affordable like this and then upgrade later if needed.
